Prospect- Leonard Iannantuoni,Sr. 92, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was the husband of Margaret (Harris) Iannantuoni.
Lenny was born on July 15, 1921in Waterbury a son of the late Caesar Iannantuoni and Louise (Chiccaese) Iannantuoni. He was retired from The Bristol Co where he worked as a machinist for many years. He was a US Army veteran having served in 78th Lighting Division, Europe Theatre. He received the purple heart, the Bronze Star and the good conduct medal.
He is survived by his son, Leonard Iannantuoni, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Bethany, two daughters, Marie Wnek and her husband Robert of Prospect, Kathy Renna and her husband Denis of Falmouth, MA and his sister, Natalie Pannone. He will also be missed by his six grandchildren, Mark, Jenifer, Jason, Samantha, Amy and Laurie.
He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will be at Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect on Wednesday evening from 4-7 p.m.
